Study:
Digital Eyestrain
Test group asked to drink 377 mg of Rutin containing drink. Participants then work at the workplace with computer for 30 minutes and relax for 20 minutes. Results showed that eyestrain was significantly lower in the test group.

Advanced Glycation End (AGE) Products
Rutin was found to prevent and/ or inhibit protein glycation and the prospects for controlling AGE-mediated diabetic pathological conditions in vivo. AGE may contribute to cataract formation in diabetes.

Cardiovascular System
In animal study, rutin is found to prevent oxidative damage in ‘aortic endothelial cells’ by lowering nitro tyrosine immunoreactivity, therefore demonstrating anti-hypertensive effect.
